Experience the Serenity of the Island
Evenings at the Reynolds Mansion are a special time of relaxation for our guests. With no outside diversions, it’s easy to find time together for team building, socializing and relaxing. Billiards, bowling and table tennis are available in the Mansion’s Game Room. Gather in one of the Mansion’s unique common areas or outside on the grounds. You may choose to simply relax by reading a classic novel from the library or find a cozy spot to watch the sun set and take in all that is The Reynolds Mansion on Sapelo Island.
When the sun is up, guests can opt for special organized activities and programs, or can experience the island firsthand. The nearby Atlantic Ocean is linked to the mansion by paths and single-track roads, and vans or bikes are available for longer excursions. Hiking, fishing, birding, beachcombing and tennis are activities usually enjoyed by our guests.

When planning your visit remember that Sapelo Island is relatively remote. What you forget to bring may not be available, so remember any special medicines, sunscreen, bug repellent, camera/film and raingear. (Sapelo Island's coastal location means rain showers are always possible). Beach towels, fishing gear, binoculars, buckets for seashell collecting and other necessary items should be added to your checklist.
